It's been created! - Reblogged.

This was what I was going to post before my "Demo's" post, and I will put the link of my show in at the end as it is on Soundcloud and would love to just get it out there to show people what I can do when I put my mind to it.

"So I have completely finished the editing of my 1 hour show, it's over by a minute but the minute is worth it if you listen to it. I shall be editing it down soon for a demo but the one I'm going to post on here has all the music and jingles included in it, the music's good and hopefully I am too.

The show is basically a carry-on from the Show Intro I posted in my last post, so it's called "Musical Cirlces" (I've never been good at naming things, if I ever had a baby it's going to be called something completely silly). And in this hour I am connecting about 7 or 8 artists, I forget which, to each other in sort of different ways - my first Artist is a big one so there were many options I could choose but I chose my favourite and hopefully that adds a bit of my flavour in to the whole equation.

At the end I finish with the big artist and give you my input of the best song of 2011, most people will now know it from so many places as it's been in TV adverts, Radio stations have been playing it almost non-stop and you know what, I will never, ever get tired of this song. It's jaunty and rhythmic, you get goosebumps all over your body."

Feel free to just comment or give me some sort of guidance on how you think I could improve, don't be shy because I will take it all into account!

Demo's.

I will admit, they aren't the easiest things to make and especially hard if you're trying to keep your personality in them. I agree that the show I was going to put forward as my demo is complex, I need to make it clear to how things are going to be put together.

Going to have to do this again, I need to make my point forward and clear, something that will catch the listener off guard and think, 'that's something we could work with'. Jazz it up a bit, make my personality shine through with my love of the music that I'm playing and maybe even more about the artist. I am just confused.

There's a podcast my old lecturer, who is now my friend, told me to listen to. It has three big names in Scottish Radio saying they want sort of the same things in a demo, but it seems like they're asking to do about 6 things to make it good, I feel a bit pressured. Don't get me wrong, I will do this and I can do this. But when hearing this is seems a bit alien, more of a foreign language rather than plain old English. I'm just a bit scared that I don't get this done right, because if I mess this up in the slightest, I just don't think I can handle myself when I'm angry with me.

I want this so badly, but I just can't seem to get the right sort of confidence or motivation. The one thing I'm brilliant at is arguing with facts, in a fast pace and with someone who wants to get their point across. I'm also good at interviewing once I've done my research, got my written questions and some great person to interview I'll do it to at least a good standard.

I need to re-write my show and re-record it, to make it an almost perfect demo. Good just isn't enough.

Well hello there.

This is my first official post, it will include my ambitions and things up-and-coming within my life and maybe a cheeky clip.

From this I would like to gain publicity, not much but enough to put me on some sort of media map. My year studying Radio Broadcasting at a college in Paisley was the best year of my life, it really opened my eyes to the world of media - not just Radio, but TV as well. In some aspects they are the same, in others totally different, but my ambitions are to become an Editor or even a Presenter, for Radio and maybe just a Presenter for TV. Even if it's not the biggest station, channel out there, it's a job right and I'd be happy with that.

At the moment I have to organise a few work experiences within Radio stations in and around Glasgow. I start one of them soon actually, (which is really exciting!) I'm considering in volunteering at a Radio station in Barrhead just for experience. If there is any chance of anyone in the media business just browsing over this, I'd quite like to add a clip of about 1 minute long.

If there's any feedback, I'd be glad to look over it and proceed to take it into account.
